MiniNotes 2007 4.0

PinderSoft is a developer that specializes in coming up with software applications for “writers, organizers, personal information managers, desktop utilities and other applications to make your tasks easier.” The company comes up with applications that cost money (can be used free of charge for a trial period of 30-days) and applications that are free.

One such application is MiniNotes. You can download and use MiniNotes for as long as you want without having to pay a dime. This is because the software application is freeware.

Speaking of downloading applications onto your computer, you will not even notice when the MiniNotes download completes. This is because the download weighs in at less than 200KB. At such a lightweight download size, the download will complete in no time at all, even on a less than spectacular internet connection. Once downloaded, you do not need to install a thing – which you might find to your liking. You need only select the location where you would like MiniNotes to be extracted. Choose carefully – notes that you come up with will be stored in the same directory. You will notice that the first time you run MiniNotes, a folder called Notes will be automatically created.

What MiniNotes does is put a grand total of 10 notepads at your disposal. There are ten tabs at the top that present the 10 notepads you can use. By default the tabs are entitled Page 1, Page 2, and so on up to Page 10. If you want you can change these default names. Simply click Configure Tabs; or you could simply press a keyboard shortcut – F3.

Everything about this application is very straightforward. There are 4 main buttons in the user interface: Save, Run in taskbar (which I liked because it allowed me to minimize the application to the taskbar), Configure Tabs, and Exit.

MiniNotes is a free, easy to use application that bundles together 10 notepads and puts them at your disposal for you to use as you see fit.
